Best of West Michigan: Indoor Winter Activities
There are many things to do in Grand Rapids this winter that are indoors. Whether it is -6 degrees or 50 degrees outside being inside at one of these fun places you won’t care what our crazy weather is doing! Here are some fun and exciting destinations to keep the kids active and busy, indoors!
Craig’s Cruisers: This place has so much fun stuff to do! Zip around on their indoor Go Kart track, play some epic laser tag, test your skills in the Ninja Course, and fly in the trampoline park! You and the kids can spend hours here without getting bored. Find hours, rates, and specials here.
Holland Aquatic Center: Missing the pool and beach? You can take a bit of a vacation from the cold winter and take a swim here! It’s not just pools, but there are waterpark features and lots of other fun stuff to entertain the kids! Be sure to check out their website for pricing and hours and any special announcements.
Ice Skating (or Roller Skating): A quintessential winter activity, there are a bunch of different indoor skating rinks all over West Michigan-but we especially love Walker Ice and Fitness. They have open skate times most days during the afternoon, and some fun events as well! Don’t care for ice? Roller skating is always a great activity to get some energy out! Jumpin’ Jupiter in Muskegon is one of the best in West Michigan for roller rinks. They also have other activities for the kids who might get tired of skating quickly.
Allegan Event: Have a climber? Allegan Event is the largest indoor ropes course in Michigan! With multiple levels for kids of all sizes, the whole family will have a blast testing their skills and building coordination and confidence! Find all of the information you need here.
