Sunset Kayaking Lake Michigan

Lake Michigan is known for its beautiful sunsets! What better way to enjoy them but from your kayak! Pick a calm day and semi clear skies and launch your kayak a couple hours before sunset. Find a public beach along Lake Michigan and walk your kayak to the shore. Getting past the first few waves on your way out can get you wet so be prepared. Smart to bring a kayak pump in case you take on more water then expected. Also wear your life vest or have it within reach. This is also law but the safest route to go.
