Best of West Michigan | Farmer’s Markets
Michigan is one of the top agricultural states in the U.S. and with that we have an abundance of Farmer’s Markets where you can buy a variety of produce! We love supporting our local farmers and eating fresh, delicious fruits and vegetables. Here are some of our favorite farmer’s markets throughout West Michigan.
- Muskegon Farmer’s Market-This farmer’s market is MASSIVE! With dozens of vendors, live music, and food trucks, this farmer’s market is a great time for the whole family! There’s everything from flowers to produce to baked goods and handicrafts. It also runs year-round and there are multiple other events that happen at the market throughout the year making this spot in Downtown Muskegon a constant hub of activity.
- Grand Haven Farmer’s Market-On Wednesday and Saturday mornings from May to October, you’ll find all your favorite farmers at the Grand Haven Farmer’s Market. Grab some coffee from downtown or even at the Aldea Coffee booth, and stroll through the vendors. A cool feature for kids is the kid’s bucks they can get to buy small cups of produce from select vendors. It helps them be involved in shopping and selecting their favorite fruits and veggies. Make a day of it in Grand Haven and bring your swimsuits, grab some fresh fruits and veggies for a snack at the beach (or some delicious baked goods from the Village Baker booth), wander around downtown, stay until dark and watch the Musical Fountains!
- Fulton Street Farmer’s Market-Looking to stay a little closer to Grand Rapids? Fulton Street Market has you covered. This has been a Grand Rapids staple since 1922! Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays are the days to load up your bags from the over 100 vendors that participate in this market every year! There are lots of other activities that happen at the market as well, so don’t miss out on those either!
