Dog Rescue Adventures

Last week, I was able to help in a dog rescue! I belong to a volunteer group called Travel 2 the Rescue, and they were transporting two dogs from Schertz, TX to be delivered to their foster home in Royal Oak, MI. We were the 19th leg of 20 for Trinity and Tiger.

 
Trinity is a 5 month old, 15 lb, spayed female Australian Kelpie mix. Tiger is a 6 year old, 52 lb, neutered male, Plott hound mix. Both of these dogs were scheduled to be euthanized before traveling here.

As a huge dog lover and someone who rescued a dog, it was a great experience helping these two dogs on their way to their foster home and, hopefully, their forever home!
